It’s another beautiful morning on the hill! Haying is done for now, with another round of mowing in a few weeks, the boys are getting ready for their first day back to school and looking out from my kitchen window, I can see a one young maple with bottom leaves starting to turn.
NEW in the farm stand today, we have crabapples, elderberries and “ugly” pears! Also, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and elderberry-ginger scones.
There are leafy greens like kale and chard, fresh herbs, green beans, cherry, paste and slicing tomatoes, cucumbers and summer squash. We still have Laggis Bros. Farm sweet corn and Amish peaches, with more on the way!
In the freezer, there is grass-fed beef, and our maple syrup is for sale too. Canopy Coffee is available in 1 pound bags and iced or hot by the cup.
