Looking Forward to Tonight!

We are VERY excited for Under Orion Farm’s very first (hopefully not the last) Pop Up Dinner. The menu is inspired by the best that early summer and late spring have to offer.
It is going to be a beautiful day and our plan for dining al fresco seems to be shaping up just fine! See below for some details about tonight, contact information and directions to get to the farm.
We will be serving from 5pm to 7pm. We are expecting a full house tonight, but we have plenty of food, so come on over if you are feeling hungry and looking for a “farm fix”.
Seating and Ambiance:
We will be enjoying dinner at the hangar, which is at the top of a field ACROSS from the farmhouse.
Please feel free to bring your own comfy chairs, blankets or stools. We will provide hay bales for seating, leaning and eating. Dress for the weather AND the bugs. Although we are serving a beverage w/ tonight’s dinner, you are welcome to bring your own as well!
We are a working farm and as such, you will see equipment, tractors, implements and a sweet little Cessna plane. We encourage you and your shorter companions to climb on and explore anything that is clearly marked as safe to do so. All the rest should be admired and explored with your eyes.
We have an outhouse behind the hangar.

Dogs: Although we love dogs, we want to ensure everyone’s experience tonight is relaxing and fun. If you would like to bring your well behaved dog to dinner, please keep her or him leashed and under your supervision at all times.
Physically challenged: If you think you will need assistance in getting to the hangar or have questions about the terrain, please contact us with the time of your arrival and how we can be of help.
Menu and prices:
Subject to change with last minute additions or opportunities! Cash or checks only please.
Main course is $10:
Slow braised, grass-fed beef with Mexican flavors
Drunken beans with charred onions (meat free and vegetarians get extra!)
Creamy polenta and wilted greens
Sweet Stuff:

Rhubarb Lemonade – $2
