Catamount Ashes is an aerial scattering service for cremated remains in Vermont, allowing for a unique and special way to memorialize a loved one’s final journey.

With over six family generations working the lands of Vermont, we understand a close bond to a place. An aerial scattering of ashes offers family and friends a way to honor the deceased loved one to return to the places they loved most in life or to be released to the winds of New England.

Catamount Ashes uses a Cessna 170 to fly to a particular location or set routes such as over the Green Mountain range. We can fly over a ceremony on the ground as well as take aerial photographs of the location. Family and friends receive a certificate of scattering.
